Since its inception in 1991, The “Qatar Chapter” of “The Institution of Engineers (India)” has been rendering excellent professional services to the engineering community of Qatar in consistent to the objective of the parent body uninterruptedly for the last 18 years. In continuation of the noble objectives of our Institution, this professional body has planned to expand its activities further to the grass root level of our engineering fraternity.
It has been observed that the are a large number of Engineers working in Qatar who are either
• New to the Gulf Conditions
• New to the Qatar Construction practices
• With very less experience
In many cases it is noted that these engineers learn in the hard way and at the expenses of a lot of mistakes and wasted man hours, material & resources.
The Institution of Engineers ( India ) Qatar Chapter has in its members-fold, a large pool of highly experienced Engineers, who are willing to offer their voluntary services to share their experience and knowledge with these young and new engineers and guide them to overcome their initial deficiencies. This professional interaction will not only help the young engineers, but will also make the engineering profession more responsible towards the society and environment by
• Enhancing overall quality of works and services.
• Improving the individual performance of the Engineers in their respective field, thereby helping them along their professional growth.
• Improving the efficiency and profitability of the organization.
• Reducing environmental hazard and global warming by reduction of wastes and energy consumption
